Kozomi Kids Playtime

A new activity to this year's event is one way of keeping the locals of Kozomi happy (since their village is literally invaded for one weekend of the year, and they put up with the noise of X-thousand watts blasting out across the bay at all hours of the morning). We're hoping that a few willing guests will spare an hour or so of time on Saturday afternoon to entertain (ie play) with some of the local kids on the beach or in the sea. If you're interested then please contact us as soon as possible as we have to give the parents of the kids plenty of notice in advance. Activities such as these will go a long way to securing the continuing support of the local village.
We are hoping to invite the village kids to the beach at 1pm.
Aya Djembe Workshop
Aya will be running Djembe drum workshops on Saturday. Participants should pay 1000 yen directly to Aya on the day of the workshop. Workshop times will be published here at a later date. Djembe drums are limited to 6 per workshop, so please contact us as soon as you can to reserve a drum for a workshop.
The Aya Djembe performance is scheduled for 17:30 on Saturday afternoon. Workshop times will be posted soon.
Charity Fund-Raising Activities
A few charity fund-raising activities will be taking place so consider joining in and help save the monkeys on Madagascar. On Saturday afternoon at 5pm down on the beach we have a 'Throw The Rubber Boot' competition. A bit like the discus but with an essential farming footwear. And on Sunday at noon in the bar, there's a 'pub' quiz. All proceeds go to a Madagascar Rainforest Conservation charity.
