Workshops and Activities

Capoeira on the Beach!

Capoeira WorkshopCapoeira Ache Brasil will be running two workshops on Saturday & one workshop on Sunday. Participants should pay 1000 yen directly to Capoiera Ache Brasil on the day of the workshop. Workshop times will be published here at a later date. For a preview of what to expect, click here and we'll show you a video!

The first Capoeira performance is scheduled for 12:30 on Saturday morning. The second performance will be later on Saturday afternoon. Capoiera workshops will commence soon after each performance.



Lia's Belly Dance School (Osaka) Workshop

Lia Belly DanceLia's Belly Dance team will be running workshops on Saturday & Sunday. Participants should pay 1000 yen directly to Lia on the day of the workshop. The School of Belly Dance will give a performance on Saturday afternoon at 2pm. Soon after this performance at around 3pm on Saturday afternoon the belly dance workshop will commence. Should the demand be great enough then a second workshop will be held at 4:30pm.




Djembe Workshop

Alama Djembe WorkshopAlama (Guinea) will be running Djembe drum workshops on Saturday at 12 noon. Participants should pay 1000 yen directly to Alama on the day of the workshop. Djembe drums are limited to 6 per workshop, so please contact us at saninbeachparty@gmail.com as soon as you can to reserve a drum for a workshop.



Pilates Workshop

Pilates WorkshopFree pilates workshops will be held on the beach early on Saturday morning at 9am, late Saturday afternoon at 6pm and early Sunday morning at 9am. Work off the excessive night-before with a bit of healthy exercise and bodily meditation. The practise of pilates focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. In particular, Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.
